Senior Network Engineer/Security Engineer with proven results supporting government, health care, education, finance and more with a finely honed focus on networking and security. I maintained my own contract tech business on the side for many years. This is what I do, and who I am. I often speak of myself as a geek liaison, as I can speak to the average end user as well as to the deep geeks. I’m an excellent resource because of my ability to communicate as well as come up with solutions to dire problems. People tell me i’m good with the “big picture”. I began my focus on networking and network security some years back and I am now a CCNP R&S and CCNA Routing & Switching, a CCNP & CCNA Security and CCNA Wireless with plans to become a CCIE in R&S with all my “free time” in the next year. I feel that my background in support and servers makes it much easier for me to be more pragmatic and thoughtful in architecture and troubleshooting. In short: I can talk to REAL people too.
